Privacy policy
CalculatorLeads is a trading style of YEPP LTD ("we", "us"). This policy explains how personal data moves through our service.
What CalculatorLeads is
We operate white-label inheritance tax calculators that professional adviser firms ("subscriber firms") embed on their own websites. Two groups of people give us personal data: subscriber firms who sign up, and visitors who use a calculator on a subscriber firm's website.
If you used a calculator on an adviser's website
- You can use the calculator without giving us any personal details. The figures you enter are sent to our servers to compute your estimate and are not stored at that point.
- If you choose to download the PDF report, we ask for your name, email address and phone number, and your explicit consent to share those details — together with the figures you entered and your estimate — with the named firm whose website you were using.
- With that consent, we store your details and calculation, email them to the firm, and record the exact consent wording you agreed to. The firm becomes a data controller of your information; we host and process it on their and our behalf.
- We store leads for up to 24 months, and remove IP addresses (kept briefly for abuse prevention) after 90 days. To exercise your data rights (access, correction, deletion and the rest, under UK GDPR), contact the firm you shared your details with, or email us at hello@calculatorleads.co.uk.
If you run a subscriber firm
- We store your firm and contact details, branding, and a record of the terms you agreed to at sign-up.
- Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your full card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment processing.
- We email you your leads, service messages about your subscription, and operational notices. We don't sell or share your details with anyone else.
Infrastructure
Our service runs on Netlify (hosting and serverless functions), Supabase (database), Stripe (billing) and SendGrid (email delivery). Each acts as a processor for the data described above. Fonts are self-hosted, so calculator visitors' browsers make no requests to third-party font services.
